Yes, this Buizel is a shiny. •m• In a city (.....Im not saying much cuzz of spoilers XD) there is a water show with different water type Pokemon preforming. Buizel is one of em in the water show. I was talking to Jon on skype and he said "DRAW DIIIIZZZZZ!!!!!!!! *gives me pokedex number of buizel*" And then when i said "oh hey! yeah!" he was like "...what?" XD LOL, he was joking and I was not. Yes, Jon. I drew him cuzz he actually appears in PMD-L. I hope that explained why I drew this..... Im totoally not using this as an excuse to give you a gift secretly, no no no no -w-...no... Aaaaand I still think I suck at drawing Buizel. I did do a small study on how to draw buizel up, but I still dont like how i drew him up -m-
Doodle: 1 hour and 20 minutes. Soooooo much doodling this week.
Oh gosh it looks like its making a splash out of the water like in those Pokemon Contest! You added ripples in the water and even some water marks to show where some of the water splashed and you made a little like the start of a typhoon under the pokemon! And I think that's so cool You brought show that this pokemon can be both beautiful and destructive in and out on the battlefield nicely done!
The pokemon pose is looking like ballet to me and the water is the dancing floor any others who step on is the battle!
I hesitated for so long of making a critique or not, but i see that one has been written already.
Just know that the render is awesome, and that mix between rough shadow and real shadows associated with color gradient gives a more powerful effect.
The blue and shiny eyes are well associated with the background and gives more deepness.
Then, the background reminding water perfectly fits to the context, with the white part which gives again more power and more deepness at the same time.
Finally, the wet effect on the lil mustelid increases the coherence.
In a nutshell, neutral but mysterious expression, and instant fav !
