Because I didn't like tepig. Ive always picked fire-types as starters, its kind of a tradition every time i play a new pokemon game, I always pick the fire type starter. Since I kinda .....forced myself to pick tepig in B/W I said to myself "THEY BETTER NOT MESS THIS UP TWICE IN A ROW!!!" and FINALLY I see another fire-fox >w< <3333 It's been way too long since They made a fire fox pokemon. I think the last one I liked was Vulpix ;n; (maybe the only one too). Im 100% sure it can't be fire-fighting since it doesn't look like it. If it starts walking on 2 legs at its final evo i'll flip a switch -n-.... But yeah, many more reasons ;u; Also it kinda reminds me of a little dog I had once >w< He was the cutest thing ever <333

Neither was Vulpix. And no one really knows what eevee and the eeveelutions are. But a lot of people think it's a fox.
